Single vehicle collision - Plymouth

Male rider currently in hospital
Police were called at around 10.35pm on Wednesday 16 September to Devonport Hill, Plymouth following reports of a motorcycle in collision with a stone wall.  
Paramedics administered first aid and critical care on scene and the rider, a man in his 30s, was taken to Derriford Hospital having suffered critical and life threatening injuries.
The pillion passenger of the motorcycle left the scene but later attended Derriford Hospital himself suffering injuries to his arm.
Specialist officers from the Roads Policing Strategic Alliance attended the scene and carried out extensive investigations which involved closing the road for several hours.
A number of key witnesses were identified and spoken to at the scene but police are keen to hear from anyone else who witnessed the incident or has dash camera footage which might assist the investigations.
Anyone who witnessed the incident and anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting log 1050 16 September.
