Serious collision - A38 Tideford

One person sustained serious injury
At around 6.50pm hours on Saturday 12 October, all three emergency services attended a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the A38, approximately one mile east of the village of Tideford.
An orange-coloured Fiat Punto and a silver Mercedes A Class were involved in a head-on collision.
The two occupants of both vehicles were taken by ambulance to Derriford Hospital. One of the occupants of the Mercedes has suffered potentially life-changing injuries.
Officers from the Roads Policing Team attended the scene and are seeking to identify a dark-coloured SUV or 4x4 vehicle at the scene of the collision.
Police would like to hear from anyone who has witnessed the collision, or travelled on the A38 in either direction at the time who may have dashcam footage or saw either vehicle.
