To Bognor Regis Town, Pagham,Aldwick,Bersted,Felpham and Middleton NHW Coordinators

You may already be aware that the current planned Sussex Police officer numbers are being further increased.
With respect to Police Officers Sussex will now be able to recruit 129 officers over the next 18months which is in addition to the 250 officers already being recruited. This means 379 new officers being recruited over the next four years.
The Police Community Officers, PCSOs, an additional 100 are to be recruited, bringing the total number to 296 recruited by mid 2020.

Katy Bourne has stated that her focus groups and consultations have clearly demonstrated that the public want PCSOs back in their communities. Sussex Police have now confirmed that they will announce the names of PCSO`s and their designated communities in early November.

As a reminder Katy bourne will be giving us a talk on Monday 14th October at 2 pm in the West Meads Community Centre, Aldwick, PO21 5SB. If you are able to make the talk and have not already advised me please do so via this Alert bulletin or direct by E-mail to andrew.millar.m@btinternet.
